Player Background Color Command Line Customizations

Use RGB codes in the command line to add a background color to Camtasia Player. You must supply a color argument with the syntax RGB (red, green, blue). Valid values for r, g, b range from 0 to 255.

For example:

The background color appears in the player window when the video does not fill the entire frame.

To generate the RGB values, use Microsoft Paint:

  1. Open Microsoft Paint.
  2. Double-click on the paint box to open the Edit Color dialog box.
  3. Click the Define Custom Colors button.
  4. The Custom Color palette appears. Click to select a color in the color grid.
  5. The spectrum appears along with the RGB color code. Find the color.
  6. Enter the RGB code in the command line using the format given above.
