Dot Prompt - Professional Edition

DBi-Desktop supports numerous Dot Prompt commands. This will allow developers the manipulate the active table using familiar commands. Below are a list of the currently support commands

CTRL-F2 to place cursor in Dot Prompt editor

APPEND | INSERT - Appends a new record
APPEND FROM - Appends data from another table
BROWSE - Selects the browse tab
CALCULATOR - Loads Windows calculator
CANCEL | POST - Saves changes of the modified record
CLEAR - Clear any active query/filter
CLOSE [ALL] - Close table(s)
CONFIGURE - Load Preferences dialog
COPY STRUCT - Copy the structure of the selected table to new table
CREATE - Create new table
DELETE [ALL] - Delete selected or all records
DIR [cPATH] - Loads Explorer
DISPLAY STRUCTURE - Selects Display Structure tab
DUPLICATE - Duplicates the selected records
EDIT - Loads edit dialog
EMPTY - Removes all records from table
FIELD <fieldname> - Locates the selected field in the table (Find Field)
FILE - [filename] - Open File Editor
FIRST - Places record pointer on first recrord
GATHER [NEW] - Copies record buffer data to the selected record. NEW creates a new record.
GO [TOP | BOTTOM | MIDDLE] - Places record pointer to selected record
RECNO - Places record pointer to selected record
LAST - Places record pointer on last recrord
LOCK - The selected table is locked
MODIFY STRUCTURE - Modify Structure of selected table
OPEN - Open Table
OPTIMIZE - The selected table is optimized
INDEX <tagname> | <tagno> - Set order of select table to tagname or tagno
PRINT TABLE - Print report of selected table
PRINT VIEW - Print current view of table
PRINT STRUCTURE - Print Structure of selected table
PROJECT - Load Project Manager
RANGE | FILTER | REPLACE - Load Scope/Query/Replace dialog
QUIT - Exit Program
REFRESH - Refresh selected table
REPAIR - Repairs the selected table
REPORT - Load Custom Report Designer
SCATTER - Scatter the selected record(s) to the internal record buffer
SCRIPT [NEW] - Create new script
FINDKEY <value> - Seek the value against the current index
REMOTE - Loads Server Connect
SERVER - Loads Server Admin
SET EXCLUSIVE - Toggle Exlcusive Mode
SKIP [count] | NEXT | PREVIOUS - Move the record pointer
SQL - Selects Local SQL tab
