Local SQL View provides the ability to perform SQL Statements on local SQL tables.
DBi-Desktop defaults to the selected table for use in the SQL statement, but is not limited to the open table. Any table in the selected directory is available for use in the SQL statement. The provides the ability to view alternate table information, as well as issuing joins.
Build SQL
Creates SQL statement based on the Query Builder and executes.
Run SQL
Issues the SQL statement based on the text located in the SQL editor
Manual SQL statement can be performed used the Run SQL option. Simply edit the SQL Memo.
Select Database Path
A dialog is displayed prompting for the directory of tables to include in the SQL Builder.
Close SQL Table
This simply closes the active SQL view. The is left intact.
Close View
Closes the active SQL view, as well as updating the display
Clear All
Clears Query Builder, SQL Editor, Query Description and closes view
Load-Builder
Loads any saved Query from disk saved from within program. This is related to the builder
Load- SQL Statement
Loads a saved SQL Statment from disk - This is related to a SQL statement only
Save-Builder
Saves current Query Builder information to disk for later use.
Save-SQL Statement
Saves the current SQL statement directly from the MEMO. This is useful for custom SQL statements that have been modified manually.
View SQL (tab page)
Displays the current SQL view based on the SQL statement
SQL Statement (tab page)
This allows the review of the created SQL statement. Modifications can be made to the SQL Statement and executed
using 'Run SQL'
Query Description (Dropdown)
Assigns a description to the current SQL Statement
Browse Table (tab page)
Present a complete view of all records in the selected open table.
