Installation

Trial version:

On MS Windows:

• Close all running instances of Delphi or C++ Builder.
• Run installation application called SETUP.EXE and just follow the instructions.
• Once the installation script is completed the TsiLang Components Suite will be automatically installed into selected IDEs.

On Linux:

• Unpack the archive: tar -xzf sicomp.tar.gz
• From the IDE's menu select "Component|Install Packages...|Add..." and choose an appropriate package:

  TSiLang_K1.so - in Kylix 1

TSiLang_K2.so - in Kylix 2

TSiLang_K3D.so - in Kylix 3 for Delphi

• You may need to adjust the IDE's library path to the files location directory.

Registered version:

Note: If you have previously installed a trial copy of the TsiLang Components Suite, then uninstall it from your PC. Make sure all its files are deleted completely.

VCL Edition:

• Close all running instances of Delphi or C++ Builder.
• Run installation application called SISETUP.EXE and follow the instructions. The installation script will install source files to destination folder and adjust library path for the selected IDEs.
• Once installation is completed you will need to compile and install the packages into your IDE. From the IDE's menu select "File|Open..." and choose an appropriate package:

  TSiLang_Dn.dpk - in Delphi (n is IDE version)

TSiLang_CBn.bpk - in C++ Builder (n is IDE version)

• In the Package Editor click on "Install" button.

CLX Edition:

If you have not chosen the option "Install CLX support" during the running SISETUP.EXE, then launch the installation and follow the instructions (make sure the box "Install CLX support" is checked). The extracted source files can be used on both Windows and  Linux platforms.

On Windows:

• From the IDE's menu select "File|Open..." and choose an appropriate package:

  TSiLang_Dn_CLX.dpk - in Delphi (n is IDE version)

TSiLang_CBn_CLX.bpk - in C++ Builder (n is IDE version)

• In the Package Editor click on "Install" button.
• Adjust the IDE's library path to the package directory.

On Linux:

• From the IDE's menu select "File|Open..." and choose an appropriate package:

  TSiLang_K1.dpk - in Kylix 1

TSiLang_K2.dpk - in Kylix 2

TSiLang_K3D.dpk - in Kylix 3 for Delphi

• In the Package Editor click on "Install" button.
• Adjust the IDE's library path to the package directory.
