Key features of TsiLang Components Suite
Localization capabilities
TsiLang Components Suite brings you the opportunity to localize all that should be localized: string-type properties of components, "hard-coded" string constants, resource strings, system locales' and standard dialog's strings, as well as other properties that may affect on visual appearance of controls (for example, geometrical sizes and positions of labels can be made different for each language when it's necessary).
Unicode support
Although Delphi and C++Builder VCL for Windows 32 is ANSI you have the ability to use Unicode enabled controls such as TNT Controls or ElPack and TsiLang components will support them the same way you do for usual controls.
Storing translation data
You have the choice where to store the translation data: either internally (ideally suits for lightweight applications - single EXE file, no DLLs, databases, etc.) or externally in special files (this approach allows to change translations without recompiling the project so even your end-user may update translations in the run-time).
Switching languages on the fly
TsiLang components will change language of user interface in your applications immediately on request both in run-time and design-time. A special component TsiLangDispatcher will help you to manage language changing process in projects with many forms. You need just to link each TsiLang to the dispatcher component and the only line of code will cause changing locale in the whole application.
TsiLang Expert
Such essential tool as TsiLang Expert included in the suite helps you to manage the translation process of you projects by simple and convenient way. So, a large project might be prepared for the globalization literally in a few minutes. The TsiLang Expert adds TsiLang components to the project's forms and data modules, adjusts their properties, and scans the project files for "hard-coded" strings.
SIL Editor
This specialized tool with convenient user interface allows to edit translations in external files, so the translation process can be completely separated from the project development. You can freely redistribute the SIL Editor to any third-party translators or agencies so that they can translate the application without IDE's installation.
User self-translated applications
TsiLangRT allows you to build multilingual applications with user self-translated support. It allows your end user to translate your applications without your assistance and without recompiling through activating embedded Translation Editor (that is the same as in design-time) at run-time. Or you can use the TsiLangRTSE component for achieving this kind of functionality that will use SIL Editor for translating your applications on end user side. It uses COM technology for interacting with SIL Editor.
Dictionary manager and automatic translation
The Dictionary Manager helps to store common translations such as dialog's captions and frequently used phrases that can be repeatedly used in many projects. Also this tool serves as an automation server so its data can be easily loaded by the SIL Editor or TsiLang's property editors.
