Description
TsiLang is great component for globalizing your applications. All what you need is
just to drop it on the form, to set up the number of languages and to input values for different languages in the Component Editor.
TsiLang features:
- Translates string properties, like "Caption", "Hint" and even "DisplayLabel" for TField.
- Translates all other string properties, like "Text" for TEdit, "UserButtonCaption" for InfoPower dialogs, etc.
- Translates TStrings type properties, like "Items" for Tcombo-box, TListBox, TRadioGroup and other third-party components, "Lines" for TMemo, TRichEdit, TOutLine and other. It can even translate "SQL" property for the components having it as well.
- Translates standard dialogs' and buttons' captions in dialog boxes like MessageDlg, InputBox and other.
- For supporting different fonts TsiLang can change fonts for each component depending on the language selected.
- TsiLang can contain a lot of user defined string constants, keeping them in the "Strings" property that may be used for custom messages and dialog boxes displaying.
- TsiLang can translate system local settings when interface language is changed.
- For different char sets support TsiLang can translate CharSet property for all the components.
- Translates TCollections type properties, like THeaderControl.Sections[...], TListView.Columns[...], etc.
TsiLang has no limitations for the amount of languages. You don't need to use any databases, any files or registry changes for deploying your applications. All translated strings are being linked to your application and you don't need to deploy additional files with your application.
If you don't want to include all strings in exe-file, TsiLang allows you to download all string constants from the external description file.
Note: There are some problems when using TsiLang components with frames. Sometimes there is wrong behavior when changing languages. So for preventing wrong it is recommended to backup your files first.
