The SnagIt Main Interface > View Menu
View Menu
The View menu lets you define how SnagIt looks on your desktop, and allows you to select whether you want to view the SnagIt OneClick and the toolbar.
The following table describes the View menu options.
Option Description & Use Normal View This is the default view of the SnagIt screen which shows the large buttons and the summary area.To see the Normal View, select View > Normal View. Classic View This view of SnagIt is called Classic because it was the way SnagIt looked prior to version 7.0. It features the classic side toolbar with buttons to select the capture mode and to open the Catalog Browser. The Input, Output, and Filters options are located in the menus on the menu bar. There is also a Mode menu which contains the same modes as the side toolbar.For more information on menus available in Classic View, see Classic View Tools and Menus. Compact View This view of SnagIt takes up minimal screen space allowing you to keep SnagIt out of the way on your screen but open and available for use when needed. With this view, the large side toolbar buttons and summary area are hidden.For more information on menus available in Compact View, see Compact View Tools and Menus SnagIt OneClick The SnagIt OneClick feature allows you to keep SnagIt hidden on your desktop for easy, one-click captures.To enable SnagIt OneClick, select SnagIt OneClick in the View Menu. SnagIt OneClick appears at its default location on the screen.For more information, see SnagIt OneClick. Toolbar This option hides or displays the toolbar.
