The T-Window collection is now dongle protected. The dongle is a small device that you insert in the parallel or USB port of your computer. Any devices normally connected to the parallel port can be plugged into the back of the dongle. Dongles for other software packages can be used at the same time as the TRADOS dongle without interference. The driver for the dongle is automatically installed when TRADOS is installed. When it is launched, TRADOS checks that the dongle is attached. If the dongle is not attached, TRADOS software, including the T-Window Collection, will only run in demo mode.
When the T-Window collection is running in demo mode, the following restrictions apply to the number of segments that can be translated and the total size of the files that can be used in the batch processes.
