Use T-Window for Clipboard to translate any clipboard content using Translator's Workbench and transfer the translation to the target document.
Copy the text chunks into the clipboard using the Copy menu option or icon or the [CTRL]+[C] shortcut that is available for most Windows applications.
The clipboard content is automatically copied to the source field of T-Window for Clipboard.
Click Open/Get to open the segment.
Translate the segment using Translator's Workbench.
Click Set/Close to close the segment.
Click Copy Target to copy the translation.
Place the cursor where you want the translated text to appear in the target document and paste it in using the Paste menu option or icon or the [CTRL]+[V] shortcut that is available for most Windows applications.
Note:
You cannot paste strings into the target field. For example, if you do a concordance search from within T-Window for Clipboard, you are not able to copy/paste the target language equivalent of your search expression into the target field of T-Window for Clipboard. This is because any copy action pastes the clipboard content to the source field of T-Window for Clipboard.
You can set T-Window for Clipboard to automatically perform an Open/Get whenever text is copied to the clipboard. To do this, check the Auto Open/Get option on the Settings menu in T-Window for Clipboard.
You can also set T-Window for Clipboard to automatically copy the translation back into the clipboard whenever a Close or a Set/Close is performed in T-Window for Clipboard. To do this, check the Auto Copy when Close Segment option on the Settings menu in T-Window for Clipboard.
When T-Window for Clipboard is open, using [CTRL ]+ [C] or the Copy icon or Copy menu item always activate the program. If you are doing a lot of editing that requires copying and pasting, and does not require translation, we recommend that you close down T-Window for Clipboard.
