Virtual PC provides nine global preferences. These preferences apply to all the PCs running under Virtual PC, and control the way PCs interact with each other and with the host PC.
Virtual PC provides a series of settings that are specific to each guest PC running under Virtual PC. These settings describe various aspects of the PC, such as the amount of RAM installed in the guest PC, which drive image to use as the boot drive, and the means by which the network IP address is assigned.
