Pausing a
guest PC
To pause the
operation of a guest PC:
- Bring
the guest PC window to the front.
- On the
PC menu, click Pause.
Note: When a PC is paused, the window
contents are dimmed.
To resume the
operation of a guest PC:
- Bring
the guest PC window to the front.
- On the
PC menu, click Resume.
Note: Each guest PC must be resumed
individually.
Other conditions which may pause a guest PC
- Memory shortage
If a guest PC is
experiencing severe memory allocation problems,
Virtual PC may forcibly pause the guest PC.
- Move to background
When the Virtual PC global
PC
Settings preference is set to Pause PCs when
in background, moving a guest PC window to the
background will cause it to become paused.
- Edit Preferences
When you edit either
global preferences or individual settings, the
frontmost PC is paused.
