To enable the Undo Drive settings:
Note: Virtual PC cannot modify the Undo Drives settings while the virtual machine is running. If the virtual machine is currently running or in a saved state, the Undo Drives feature will not be available. To enable Undo Drives, first shut down the virtual machine.
The changes stored in the undo file can be incorporated into the original hard disk image file when the virtual machine is shut down.
Ask to undo changes
When this option is
selected, and the user shuts down
the virtual machine, the Shut Down dialog will
contain four additional shut down options.
Note:The Shut Down and Turn Off features will suspend all virtual machine activity, and will require the operating system to go through the boot up process upon restart of the virtual machine.
Commit hard drive changes now
With this box checked, changes from the undo file will
be incorporated into the original hard drive on shutdown.
Always undo changes
When this option is
selected, changes to the undo file are never saved, and
no changes are made to the original hard drive.
Undo Folder Location
The default location for the Undo Folder
can be changed by selecting a new location using
the Browse button. Click Browse and then click Change to
specify a new location for the Undo Folder.
