Update

Regularly updating your antivirus system is vital if you want to maintain maximum protection against viruses. As new viruses are created all the time, it is advisable that you use AVG Update at least once a week to check for new updates.

Update files are available on the Internet, or, if you have downloaded manually, you can select a folder on your computer or network.

Click the Internet button to display the Internet update dialog.

Click the Folder button to display a dialog that allows you select folders. Use this dialog to select the folder that stores your AVG update files. If you click OK, AVG will search the selected folder for update files and update itself if necessary.

Check the box Do not ask for the update source next time if you want AVG to remember your choice and not show this dialog again when checking for updates. (To enable this dialog again: Update Manager component -> Properties -> uncheck the Do not ask for the update source box.)

Click the Cancel button to exit without performing an update.
