Red Eye Correction

Using Digital Camera does not mean you escape from the well-known Red-Eye problem caused by flashlights. However Images can be processed afterwards and the unwanted and unsightly Red Eyes removed.

How To Remove Red Eyes From Images:

  1. Open the image in XnView.
  2. Select the area of the image, where you would like to correct the Red Eye Effect.
  3. Choose the menu item ImageRed Eyes Correction. XnView changes all red pixel to gray.

Repeat these steps until all occurrences of Red Eye are removed.

Tip:

If when correcting the red eyes, other image parts are changed (e.g. red lips), then undo the last modification and select a smaller area which better covers the eyes only.
