Configuring DHCP Settings

Choose: Edit > Virtual Network Settings > DHCP

(You can also modify DHCP settings by selecting Host > Virtual Network Settings > Host Virtual Network Mapping, selecting a specific adapter, then clicking the OK button.)

To add a new virtual network to the list, click Add. A dialog box appears. Choose the network you want to add from the drop-down list, then click OK. Click Apply to activate the new network. Note that you cannot change the settings (such as the lease time) until you add the network.

To change DHCP settings for a virtual network, select it in the list, then click Properties. A dialog box appears. Make the desired changes, then click OK.

To remove a virtual network so it is no longer served by the virtual DHCP server, select it in the list, then click Remove.

You can completely stop the DHCP service for all virtual networks by clicking Stop. If the service is stopped, you can start it by clicking Start.

When you have made all the networking changes you want, click OK.
