Configuring Display Preferences

Select items on the Display tab to determine how Workstation displays this virtual machine.

The items under Autofit let you control how the virtual machine behaves when autofit is on.

• Select Autofit window to have the Workstation window automatically adjust to fit the virtual machine display any time the virtual machine display settings change.
• Select Autofit guest to have the virtual machine display adjust to fit the Workstation window whenever you change the window's size.

Under Full Screen, you can configure how the host and guest display settings interact when you enter full screen mode.

• Select Resize host to change the host's display settings to match the display settings of the guest while you are in full screen mode.
• Select Resize guest to change the guest's display settings to match the display settings of the host while you are in full screen mode.
• Select Don't resize to have both host and guest retain their own display settings while you are in full screen mode.
