Database in AnyLexic contains all your dictionaries in a single database file. You can use your local database file, or share terminology with your colleagues, by accessing remote AnyLexic Database, located on AnyLexic Server. Thus there are two general types of databases, Local and Server:
Local Database – this terminology database is stored locally on your PC. It can be accessed and managed only with the help of AnyLexic installed on your PC.
Server Database – this terminology database is stored on AnyLexic Server PC – or a computer on which AnyLexic Server has been installed. Server database can only be managed with the help of AnyLexic Server on Server PC. Server database can be accessed with the help of AnyLexic, provided that AnyLexic user has a valid login and password defined by administrator of AnyLexic Server.
All the database operations can be accessed through Database menu.
