Scatter allows developers to copy selected records to the internal record buffer for pasting of data to another record or table. Selecting a single record places the records in the buffer.
To paste the record to another record, use the Gather command.
Notes:
You may place multiple records into the record buffer. Scattering of data is global, allowing the access of the record buffer from multiple tables.
