Base Currency of your company

The first thing you have to do with your Projetex 2006 is to define your corporate settings, i.e. define the service groups and the services you provide, your main currency, the discounts you may give, the taxes you pay, the units for measuring job volumes, and currency exchange rates.

Let us presume that your company provides translation-related services and your main currency is EURO. The base currency is defined in Projetex 2006 Server.

To define your Base Currency, open Projetex 2006 Server Administrator application.

If the server is not started yet, click Start Server button.

Once the server is started, switch to Database tab.

Once database is offline, switch to Corporate Settings tab.

Base Currency is set on General page. To set it, click Base Currency button and select the necessary currency in the Edit Base Currency window:

Now, when the Base Currency is defined, you switch your database to online and start the server in order to enable work in Projetex 2006 Workstation.

Please make sure that the base currency is correct before starting your work in Projetex 2006.
