With Projetex 2006 Import Utility you can import data from your .xls files directly to Projetex 2006 database.

First select the field from the Target Fields in Projetex Database drop-down list. Then select the corresponding cell of .xls file by clicking row or column caption using Ctrl key (the corresponding row or column will become blue highlighted) and press Enter (the corresponding row or column will become green highlighted).

 

For example, on the picture below the link was established between Name field in Projetex 2006 and column A of Microsoft Excel file.

After you select all the corresponding cells for the current table field, proceed to another field and repeat all these operations for each dataset field.

If you do not want some first rows or columns of the source table to be imported, set the number of such rows in the Skip title rows: and Skip title columns: edit fields.

Click Next to proceed.
