Top Previous Next |
Text variables can have Prefixes and Suffixes. These can be attached to certain variable in the text and will be displayed only if the variable does not refer to empty field. Prefixes or suffixes, are entered manually in a text variable when editing or creating a template.
Prefix is a character or set of characters located before text variable and separated from the rest of the text with [ square bracket. It will be displayed only if the variable is not empty. Example: [ prefix [TargetNote]
Suffix is a character or set of characters situated after text variable and separated from the rest of the text with ] square bracket. It will be displayed only if the variable is not empty. Example: [TargetNote] suffix]
Example: On the screenshot below Target item and Note for this item are separated with dash character. Such characters can be added as prefixes or suffixes to the respective variables.
If no suffixes or prefixes are used in the template, this dash character will be displayed after every target item which does not have a note.
