Text Variables are used in Templates to indicate different information about entries in the dictionaries. A Variable inserted in a template will be displayed as the required information at the same location and in the same text format as the one used to enter this variable.
There following Variables are available in AnyLexic, Version 2.0
· | [DictionaryName] – Dictionary Name of the dictionary, in which the current entry is stored. |
· | [EntrySource] – Source term of a current entry. |
· | [TargetNumber] – Target index number in a current entry. |
· | [TargetItem] – Target term for Source term in a current entry. Multiple target terms of one source term will be displayed in a column. |
· | [TargetNote] – Note of a Target term in a current entry. |
· | [CreatedDate] – Date when a current entry was created. |
· | [CreatedBy] – User Name of a current entry author. |
· | [ModifiedDate] – Date when a current entry was modified. |
· | [ModifiedBy] – User Name of an author modified a current entry. |
Note: Text variables are defined with square brackets and their working cannot be changed.
