Repair

Projetex 2006 is a very reliable software running on a very reliable database platform. However, nothing is perfect – and in cases when you are informed about errors after running Check Integrity command, it is necessary to attempt repairing the database by running Repair command.

Repair command is performed on the Repair button click from the Database page of the Projetex 2006 2006 Server Administrator.

As a security measure, Projetex 2006 2006 Server Administrator cannot run any repairs on the original location of the Projetex 2006 2006 database (C:\Projetex 2006 Server\Database\projetex.fdb). You should copy the database to some other location before running Repair command. Please, do not forget to switch database into Offline mode before copying, otherwise copy can be imperfect.

After clicking Repair button you will need to specify the location of the database copy created in the Repair Database window:

If Repair fails, the only alternative is restoring database from most recent backup, therefore it is important to backup often enough.
