The View menu allows you to change the way data is
displayed in the WinZip® Classic view. The menu entries are:
All Files (WinZip Style): this option displays all the files
in your Zip file in a flat view.
Files by Folder (Explorer Style): this option displays all the
files and folders in your Zip file as they are stored. If your Zip file
contains folder information, you will see the folder and then open the
folder to see the files that are stored in that particular folder. This
setting also works in conjunction with the Folders view setting.
Folders: this view adds an additional pane (Folders) to the
list view section of the WinZip Classic window. Folders are displayed
in the Folder (left) pane and the associated files within a folder are
displayed in the List View (right) pane. This allows the contents of
the Zip file to be viewed in a tree structure.
Thumbnails: the pictures in a Zip file are displayed in
thumbnails, smaller images.
Tiles: the contents of the Zip file is displayed in a tiled
view (Windows XP or Vista systems only).
Icons: the contents of the Zip file is displayed as icons
(Windows XP or Vista systems only).
Large Icons: Zip file contents are displayed as large icons (non-Windows XP or Vista systems only)
Small Icons: Zip file contents are displayed as small icons (non-Windows XP or Vista systems only)
List: the contents of the Zip file are displayed in a
multi-column list.
Details: the contents of the Zip file are displayed with
details about the files and folders.
Sort lets you specify whether the list of files in the archive is
sorted by name, type, date, size, compression ratio, packed size, CRC, file
attributes, path, or whether the original archive order should be used.
Note: You can also change the sort order by clicking on the appropriate
portion of the main list box header. For example, click on the word
"Date" in the header to sort by date. To reverse the sort order,
click it again.
Up one level: display the contents of the folder one level
back from the current folder. Only available in the Files by
Folder (Explorer Style) view.
Comment allows you to add or edit the Zip
file comment.
Last Output displays the results of the last WinZip operation.
