Folder Structure Administration in Projetex 2006

Projetex 2006 automatic folder creation, thought-out structuring and simple access three times reduce the time spent on file management.

Automatic creation of folders for Clients, Experts (Corporate and Freelance), Projects can be customized on Folders page of Corporate Settings tab of Projetex 2006 Server Administrator. There you can build folder structure according to your needs. To customize folders select appropriate page you want to modify: Client Folder, Project Folder, Expert Folder – Corporate, Expert Folder – Freelance.

Additionally you can customize JA folders and PO folders for more flexible managing of information.

Below you can see the example of the default Projetex 2006 folders' structure:

And in time of creation of new folder for each Freelancer in Projetex 2006 Workstation this folder structure will be created automatically

To disable creation of customized folders clear Automatic Folder Creation on the corresponding tab Folders page. (on the screenshot below automatic folder creation of freelance expert's folder is disabled)

All changes with these custom folders will not be implemented for Client and Expert with existing Client or Expert Folder.

Name of each project's folder can have more than just Project Code. On the Project Folder tab of the Folders page of Server Administrator Corporate Settings.

You can include in the name of the project's folder: name of the Project Manager, Project Name. To apply changes to the names of all projects's folders, created before - click button Update Folders. This feature is available only for name of projects's folders and does not have effect on other folder names.
