You can easily access the Project related folders (with files received from the client, files created while working on the project etc.) from the Files page of the Project window.

To open Files page, click Files tab:

_bm3 Note: You will not be able to open this page if Projetex 2006 folders are located on network drive and you do not have access to this drive. To access folders of Projetex 2006, please open them in Windows Explorer. If you experiencing problems, please contact your system administrator

The window is similar to the Microsoft® Windows Explorer window, but it has special features:

·Its scope is limited to project's folder, which is located in the Projects folder (by default C:\Business\Projects). Drag-and-drop operations are supported.

_bm3 Note: the location of the Business folder is specified on the setup stage and can be changed on the Folders page of the Advanced Settings window.

·It is enhanced (for instance, special icon added for creation of new folder, as well as F7 shortcut).

If the project's folder was not created yet, the button panel under the window caption looks like this:

To create the project's folder click Create button. Future location of the folder is displayed on the right.

After the project's folder was created, Create button appears dimmed, while Explore and Search buttons become available.

Click Explore button to open project's folder in a separate Microsoft® Windows Explorer window.

Click Search button to search for files and folders in the project's folder using Microsoft Windows Search.

In the left part of the Files page the structure of the project's folder is displayed:

Click reload button to reload the structure (after you have created new subfolders, for example).

Click level button to get to the higher level of the project's folder structure (it appears dimmed when the project's folder itself is selected because the scope of the page is limited to this folder and its subfolders).

In the right part of the Files page of the Project window the content of the folder, selected on the left.

Use little square buttons with icons for management of sub folders of the client folder.

Starting from the very left:

·create new folder;
·cut the folder;
·copy the folder;
·paste the folder;
·delete the folder;
·open Microsoft Windows Search;
·Icons view;
·Titles view;
·List view;
·Details view;
·Thumbnails view;
·use it to open the Properties window for the selected folder.

You can also access the project's folders from the Project Folders window:

It is very similar to the Files page of the Project window described above. The only difference is that in this window you can access project's folders of all Projects from the database, while on the Files page only folder of the selected Project is available.
