It is recommended to perform regular backups of AnyLexic database. Backup operation creates a backup .FDB file which can later be used to restore your database to the state in which it was backed up.
To backup your AnyLexic database:
2. Click Backup button.
3. Backup Database dialog will prompt you to select name and preferred location of backup file:
current Year.Month.Day_Hours-Minutes-Seconds_AnyLexic.fbk. This format is adopted for easy sorting of backups within Windows file system. You can change the name of backup file.
4. Click OK to start the back up procedure, or click Cancel to close the window.
